So Where Do You Expect Me to Take You On a First Date?

Surely by now, you have heard of this list of places women REFUSE to go on a first date.  

In case you missed it here is the list:

Cheesecake Factory,  Applebee’s, Chili’s, Chipotle, Olive Garden, The Movies, Your House, Any Fast-Food Chain, Buffalo Wild Wings, Wingstop, Red Lobster, A buffet, IHOP, Denny’s, the gym, Church, Starbucks, Coffee dates, Ice cream dates, Family functions, Movie night (Netflix, Hulu, etc.), Somewhere that requires a long drive, Bowling, Nightclubs, Hookah Bar, A bar for just drinks, Waffle House or a Sports event.

 

Now I know it’s been a minute since I’ve taken anyone on a first date but first, isn’t a date about who you are with and not so much where you are going? Second, it’s a first date, a time to get to know each other time. I don’t know you and you don’t know me so personally I’m not investing a whole lot on this first date because we might realize we can’t stand each other before the date is over.

 

I’m really trying to figure out why any of the places above would be a problem? 

 

I would suggest it would’ve been more helpful If they provided a list of where they expect to go on a first date.

 

Until they do they need to go sit down somewhere, forget about their “champagne wishes and caviar dreams” and humbly say yes to the brother who wants to take them to Red Lobster.

 

Besides you know good and well if you don’t all you have to go home to is a refrigerator full of Spam.
