Rev. Flakes, Sr. Pastor of the Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church received his Doctor of Ministry from Mercer University, McAfee School of Theology, Atlanta, GA. He has received a master’s degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, and his Master of Divinity degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center, Morehouse School of Religion. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, Ala. In Addition to his numerous ministerial and civic affiliations, he was recently elected to serve as president of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance.
