Columbus, GA — Noah Harley, the suspect in the recent Shirley B. Winston Recreation Center shooting, was arrested on Sunday, July 7, 2024, by the Muscogee County Sheriff's Department. Harley is facing multiple charges, including possession of a deadly weapon at a public gathering, theft by receiving (motor vehicle) and obstruction.
The arrest comes in the wake of the shooting incident at the Shirley B. Winston Recreation Center, which left the community in shock. Authorities have been diligently working to apprehend the suspect, and their efforts culminated in Harley’s arrest over the weekend.

Harley was scheduled for a preliminary hearing on July 8 where he pled guilty to all charges. Harley’s arraignment date is set for September 6, 2024.
