Special Operations Sweep Results in Gang, Drug Arrests in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. – A search warrant executed by the Columbus Police Department’s Special Operations Unit led to multiple arrests linked to the Rollin 60’s Crips and DBH gang on Nov. 3, as part of an ongoing crackdown on gang-related drug trafficking.

Officers raided a residence in the 4200 block of Roman Drive, seizing substantial amounts of drugs and firearms and arresting several individuals on a range of felony charges, including gang activity and firearms offenses.

Police confiscated 3,096.2 grams (6.82 pounds) of marijuana with an estimated street value of $30,962, 19.5 grams of Spice worth $195, and 18.7 grams of THC valued at $467.50, totaling $31,624.50 in drugs seized. Six firearms were recovered, including two reported stolen and one rifle modified to function as an automatic weapon.

The suspects arrested in connection with the operation face multiple charges, including criminal street gang activity, drug possession with intent to distribute, and firearm-related offenses:

  • Frank Jackson Jr., 45: Faces 18 counts of criminal street gang activity, drug distribution charges, and firearms-related offenses.
  • Treveyonne Campbell, 30: Faces 21 counts of criminal street gang activity, drug charges, and firearm possession as a convicted felon.
  • Brandon Lee, 31: Charged with 18 counts of gang activity, drug possession, and illegal firearm use.
  • Rizzano Powell, 29: Faces 15 counts of gang activity along with multiple drug and firearm charges.
  • Khalil Abdulhayy, 25: Charged with 15 counts of gang activity, drug distribution, and firearm possession.
  • Elajuwon Rogers, 30: Arrested as a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and had 14 outstanding warrants.
  • Maurice Dillard, 45: Charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute.

The Columbus Police Department emphasized its commitment to tackling gang violence and drug-related crime to ensure community safety.
