Nine Arrested in Columbus Gang-Related Drug and Firearms Bust

A police operation led to the arrest of nine documented gang members on March 16, 2025, after the Columbus Police Department’s Special Operations Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 7000 block of Sorrel Court. The suspects face a total of 96 charges related to firearms, drug possession and other offenses.

During the raid, officers seized:

• $1,113 in currency
• 1,626.5 grams (3.52 pounds) of marijuana, allegedly valued at approximately $16,265
• 10 firearms, including two reported stolen

Arrested Individuals and Charges:

• Tyquis Brown, 19 – Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (six counts), theft by receiving stolen property - firearm (two counts), possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, possession of drug-related objects.
• Clifford Davis, 21 – Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (six counts), theft by receiving stolen property - firearm (two counts), possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, possession of drug-related objects.
• Marquis Davis, 19 – Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (seven counts), theft by receiving stolen property - firearm (two counts), possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, possession of drug-related objects.
• Tristian Davis, 20 – Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (six counts), theft by receiving stolen property - firearm (two counts), possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, possession of drug-related objects.
• Braxton Deriso, 20 – Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (six counts), theft by receiving stolen property - firearm (two counts), possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, possession of drug-related objects.
• Philip McClinton, 21 – Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (six counts), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, theft by receiving stolen property - firearm (two counts), possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, possession of drug-related objects, felony violation of probation warrant.
• Jalien Sanabria, 17 – Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (six counts), theft by receiving stolen property - firearm (two counts), possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, possession of drug-related objects, possession of a pistol under 18 years of age, warrant for pointing a pistol at another.
• Antonio Shaw, 22 – Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (six counts), theft by receiving stolen property - firearm (two counts), possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, possession of drug-related objects.
• Jarquiz Williams, 21 – Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (seven counts), theft by receiving stolen property - firearm (two counts), possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction, possession of drug-related objects.
