Columbus Police Seek Witnesses in Drive-Thru Shooting

Authorities are searching for witnesses to a shooting that left a 10-year-old child critically injured at a McDonald’s drive-thru on Jan. 18.

The shooting occurred around 10:50 p.m. at the McDonald’s on 4121 Buena Vista Road, according to the Columbus Police Department. Investigators said a vehicle was fired upon, and a child in the back seat was struck in the head.

Surveillance footage from the scene shows multiple vehicles in the area at the time, leading police to believe that witnesses may have crucial information.

Authorities are urging anyone who saw the incident to come forward.
