Columbus Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Shooting Suspects

The Columbus Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating two suspects wanted in connection with a shooting on Mar. 23, 2025, in the 3200 block of Macon Road.

Around 4:58 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting multiple gunshots in the parking lot of Aldi and AutoZone. The victims told police they were sitting in their vehicle when another vehicle opened fire, striking their car several times.

After an investigation, Adrian Davis, 29, was identified as the shooter. He is wanted on warrants for:

  • Two counts of Aggravated Assault
  • Drive-By Shooting
  • Damage to Property (2nd Degree)
  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime

Shakella McKay, 30, the driver of the vehicle, is also wanted on similar charges:

  • Two counts of Aggravated Assault
  • Drive-By Shooting
  • Damage to Property (2nd Degree)

Both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
