The Columbus Police Department is turning its recent culinary success into community support with a donation to the Boys & Girls Club of the Chattahoochee Valley.
Rally Point Harley-Davidson will present the donation at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, at its location on 3230 Williams Road.
The funds were raised from the Soup’er Bowl Chili Cookoff, where CPD secured top honors, winning both Best Tasting Chili and Overall Winner. As part of the competition’s tradition, proceeds are directed to a charity of the winner’s choosing. CPD selected the Boys & Girls Club in recognition of its ongoing efforts to provide a safe and enriching environment for local youth.
“We are honored to support an organization that makes such a positive impact on the young people in our community,” a CPD representative said. “This event was not only a great opportunity to showcase our cooking skills but also a chance to give back."
